RK Kliebenstein
RK Kliebenstein is a self-storage industry pioneer. He is an internationally renowned author and speaker with extensive experience in all aspects of financing, developing, acquiring, and managing self-storage properties. RK is an innovator, whose many years of dedication and hard work have helped self-storage achieve its modern status as one of today’s best investment opportunities. During his career, RK has been responsible for underwriting over $1 billion in self-storage transactions, running more than 1,000 acquisition and development projects, and personally conducting due diligence on over 100 million square feet of self-storage space.
RK began his career in self-storage converting incubator space to self-storage use. He worked at both National Self Storage and Self Storage Mortgage Corp. Subsequently, RK joined the Amsdell Companies (YSI) where he was responsible for the acquisition and integration of more than $125 million in self-storage properties. He also served on the founding executive management team of Extra Space Storage (EXR).
RK currently serves as President of Coast-to-Coast Storage, the premier and most comprehensive self-storage consulting firm in the world. The company provides solutions in all areas of self-storage including high level strategic consulting and business planning, feasibility studies, site selection, comprehensive development and acquisition services, property management, and financing. In addition, Coast-To-Coast Storage is developing self-storage and RV & Boat Storage facilities throughout the United States. In addition to domestic activity, the company is currently working on projects in the U.K., France, Canada and Mexico.
Jennifer LeClaire
Jennifer is the president and creative director of Self Storage Promotions.
She has been serving the self-storage industry with writing, editing,
ghostwriting, public relations and graphic design services since 2001. That
industry-specific knowledge, combined with her nearly 20 years of media
savvy, positions her to help self-storage companies promote their brands.
Jennifer is also president of Revelation Media Networks, Inc., an integrated
marketing communications firm, and parent company of Self Storage
Promotions. Jennifer is also co-founder of Conversion Press, an independent
publisher that has worked with Wiley Publishing to produce ³Web Analytics
For Dummies."
Jennifer is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the
American Society of Authors and Journalists and the Web Analytics
Association. Jennifer has worked with Universal Studios, the NBA, the New
York Times, the Associated Press, and many large and small corporations in
their quest for communications excellence.
